FAQs

What can I expect at EiK?

Exploration Into Kink is a three day immersion event featuring classes, vendors, and evening parties.

What is the dress code at EiK?

Nudity is allowed in designated areas of the event space and dungeon. Nudity is not allowed when eating at the event restaurant or buffet. If you are nude, you must have a towel, or some other item, to sit in the chairs in the event space and dungeon.

Where can I have my cellphone out?

The Hotel lobby and restaurant are designated cell phone spaces for EiK. We will have signs posted remind attendees when they enter no cell phone spaces.

Can I bring needles and scalpels to do a scene?

Yes! We categorize blood draw three ways; accidentally, incidentally, or intentionally. Needles and scalpels would normally fall under incidental for this event. Intentionally playing for or with blood… that we do not allow.

Will there be a quiet space this year?

Yes! We are partnering with QaNDI to provide a quiet space again.

What is the Exploration Emporium?

The Emporium is a no pressure learning space where Guides will demonstrate or lead you though a taste of various skills. Curious how to wield a flogger, feel a violet wand, peer rope share, or something else that can be unlocked… this is an opportunity.

When will hotel rooms become available?

We plan on starting to book hotel rooms late summer. They will be available in the order that attendees purchased their ticket.

Why can I only buy one ticket?

This is for security, safety, and some behind the scenes event administration. In particular, this allows us to ensure that each guest has acknowledged our rules and terms at time of purchase.

Can I wear prescription smart glasses?

No, the concerns over the cameras and “smart” features of the frames is too much of a risk and would ask that you leave them in your room or vehicle.
